NEURON-DONES

  • Initiative cofinanced by Spain's Ministry of Science, the Center for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI), and the European Next Generation EU funds
  • Reference: CDTI-EXP-00130670

The project involves a particle accelerator designed to replicate the neutron radiation conditions expected in future fusion reactors. We are developing a robotic arm with tactile sensitivity and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities that will perform maintenance tasks in the "hot zones" of the scientific facility.

Through this project, we are pushing the boundaries of robotic technology in extreme environments, creating solutions that can operate under intense radiation conditions while maintaining precision and reliability.
